Looks like the second phase of the Urmston Town Centre renewal is now under way so looking forward to more new shops to enjoy. Hopefully this will bring in new prospects for growth (even in this tough recession) but guess we’ll have to wait and see. I put forward a suggestion for the top of higher road to be pedestrianised to make it better for people to get around and to make that part of Urmston much more accessible and safer to walk round but nothing came of it though I still think its a good idea.
Do you have any ideas that you think would make Urmston a better place to live, work and shop?
